Dahua cameras and HDCVI DVR's are great ! A few years ago you had to go with IP cameras to get HD resolution and they used to cost about $400 per camera, now with Analog HD you can get a 2mp resolution camera for about $80 and a 4ch HDCVI DVR for about $285 letting you have an HD image and letting you keep some money in your wallet. Smart NVR similar to the Blade style unit , this unit holds one hard drive and is super space saving. The NVR is used for IP Network cameras, cameras plug into your internet switch or router, this unit does as well. then it searches for your cameras on the network and they record to this unit, HDCVI cameras have to go back to the recorder, IP just have to plug into internet so the nvr can be in the basement while the cameras can plug into a switch in the attic or garage.
